Hi my name is Faline and I am the heart behind The Heart of Teaching. Teaching is more than a job for me. It is my purpose and the place where I feel the most connected to who I am becoming. I have experience working with preschool children and teaching English as a second language to both adults and kids. I love creating fun hands on lessons that help students feel confident and excited to learn. My background in bilingual and ESL education shaped my belief that every child brings their own story and culture into the classroom and it is my joy to honor that. I also love traveling and cooking because they allow me to explore new places, try new flavors, and bring that creativity and curiosity back into my teaching. Every course I take in college and every moment I spend in a classroom helps me grow into a stronger and more intentional educator. The Heart of Teaching represents my belief that when students feel cared for they learn and when teachers teach with love they inspire. I am proud of the teacher I am today and excited for all the possibilities ahead.
